1, Ding Ru, a word for learning Tao and a word for Wei Xian, was born in Jiyang, Zizhou (now Lankao, Henan) and was born in the 21st year of Tang Zhenguan (647). In his early years, he did not take the imperial examination. In the first year of Tang Linde (664), he and Ceng Pu, the general of Wei, guarded Longxi and became sons-in-law in Zengfu.

2. Generals and officials in the late Qing Dynasty went to the Beiyang Navy as the prefect. In the Yellow Sea naval battle, he was removed from his post and remained in office because of command mistakes. In the Battle of Weihaiwei, commander beiyang fleet insisted on resisting the Japanese siege and sternly refused to surrender.

3. Ding Jing, a painter and seal engraver in the Qing Dynasty, worshipped Wu Meng as a captain and a state secretariat official.
