As early as 195 1, Zhangzhou Experimental (Rice) Troupe was jointly established by Taiwan Province Gezi Opera Troupe and Zhangzhou Improved Troupe (Shao Helin and Wen Xiang developed from Taiwan Province Gezi Opera).

/kloc-participated in the "National Tour of Key Troupe in Longxi Region" in 0/960, and toured Shantou, Shaoguan, Guangzhou, Changsha, Wuhan, Nanjing, Suzhou, Wuxi, Shanghai, Hangzhou and other places as a key troupe of People's Republic of China (PRC) Ministry of Culture.

1992, the troupe adapted the modern drama "Soul of the Opera" from the original novel "Sanxi" in Hong Xingfu, Taiwan Province Province, and won the "Wenxin Drama Award" in the second Wenhua Award of the Ministry of Culture, becoming the first Mi Opera (Taiwanese Opera) to win the Wenhua Award in history. Yang Lianyuan and Fang won the second Wenhua Award "Wenhua Drama Award" for "Soul". Zheng Xiuqin won the second Wenhua Award "Wenhua Performance Award" for her role of "Zhang Yuejiao" in Soul of Opera, and was the first Kunqu Opera actor and dancer to win the Wenhua Performance Award in history.

The troupe has been invited to perform in Singapore and Taiwan Province province for many times, and 1995 was invited to perform in Taiwan Province province for the first time, and recorded several CDs of Taiwanese opera music. In 2008, the troupe went to Taiwan Province Province again and performed Li Sanniang, Xue Mei's godson and Shen Jingyuan's Dream in Tainan and other places.
