The Historical Evolution of Qingyang Town
When the village was founded, it was named to celebrate the election of a Yang as the village head. Because it is 54 kilometers away from Yabuli Town, it was once called "54". During the Republic of China, it belonged to the sixth district of Weihe County. In the late period of the fall of Northeast China, it belonged to Lianghe Village. 1945 "93" Qingyang District was established after the victory of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. 1948 was placed under the jurisdiction of Shangzhi county in March, and 1950 was changed to 16 districts in February. 1956 in may, Qingyang township was established. 1958 changed its name to Qingyang people's commune in September. 1984, changed to Qingyang township. 1August, 988, changed to Qingyang Town.
