Alias grass, wild evergreen.

The source is the whole grass of rostellaria procumbens (L.) Nees of Acanthaceae.

The plant morphology is panicum miliaceum, with a height of 10 ~ 50 cm. The stems are green, sparsely hairy, the nodes are slightly enlarged, and the base is creeping. The leaves are opposite, oval or oblong, 2 ~ 5 cm long and 1 ~ 3 cm wide. Spike terminal or axillary, long 1 ~ 3 cm; Bracts 1, bracteoles 2, all lanceolate with eyelashes; Calyx lobes 4, linear-lanceolate, hairy at margin and back; Corolla pink, 2-lipped; Stamens 2, hairy at the base, anthers 1 locule underdeveloped, half-spurred. The capsule is rod-shaped, about 6 ~ 9 months long, and the fruiting period is 9 ~ 1 1 month.

Born in wet places near weeds and roadsides. Location: Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Yunnan, Fujian, Zhejiang, Jiangxi and Jiangsu.
