A 400-word composition describing a historical figure-Qin Shihuang
A large number of talented and courageous figures emerged in ancient wars, such as Zhuge Liang and Liu Bei. But my favorite is Qin Shihuang.
When you hear the name Qin Shihuang, you will think that Qin Shihuang is a tyrant, but he is not. Qin Shihuang was a great emperor. He was the first emperor in China and the founder of the first multi-ethnic centralized feudal empire in China. Qin Shihuang's name was Ying Zheng, also known as Zhao Zheng, and he called himself Zulong. He is the son of Wang Xiang of Qin Zhuang and was born in Handan, the capital of Zhao State. In 247 BC, he ascended the throne and established the Qin Dynasty.
In fact, I didn't have a good impression of Qin Shihuang at first, and I always regarded him as a ruthless spokesman. One day, I casually checked the information of Qin Shihuang on the Internet, and saw how the king of Qin managed the state of Qin in an orderly way and how he accomplished the great cause of China's reunification. Only then do we know that Qin Shihuang is not the legendary figure we said.
I remember a story that Liu Bang killed all the founding fathers, but Qin Shihuang didn't do what Liu Bang did. In 227 AD, the King of Qin sent a general to attack the State of Qi. I didn't expect the general to be defeated by Qi accidentally, and the general was defeated. Instead of condemning him, Qin Shihuang gave the general a reward and encouraged him to say: winning or losing is a common occurrence in military strategists, and you have done your best. Look, this is the good side of Qin Shihuang. On the surface, he is a tyrant, but at heart, he is a kind and caring emperor. I think now you won't blindly say that Qin Shihuang was cruel and vicious. It was under the command of Qin Shihuang that Qin destroyed Korea, Zhao, Wei, Chu, Yan and Qi in just a few years. Liu Bang, the emperor gaozu of Han Dynasty, killed all the heroes in the world and almost destroyed the Han Dynasty that he had worked so hard to build for more than ten years. However, Qin Shihuang rewarded meritorious ministers and punished guilty ministers, and the rewards and punishments were clear, making the powerful Qin State stronger.
Qin Shihuang was praised by Li Zhi, a thinker in the Ming Dynasty, as "an emperor through the ages". Shouldn't we respect him as an all-powerful, legendary and epoch-making figure? After all, "no one is perfect, and gold is not enough." The so-called cruelty of Qin Shihuang is only his bad side. We should learn more from the excellent qualities of Qin Shihuang in everything we do. We must analyze things in many ways and see through them in order to do everything well and succeed step by step!
