Jinnan District is adjacent to Tianjin Port in the east, downtown area in the west, Dagang Petrochemical Industrial Zone in the south and Haihe River in the north, accounting for 72 kilometers of the middle and lower reaches of the comprehensive development of Haihe River. Jinnan District borders Tanggu District in the east, Dagang District in the south, Hexi District and Xiqing District in the west and Dongli District across the Haihe River in the north.
