Wangjiacao is located in east longitude and north latitude, with a subtropical humid climate, 8.8 kilometers away from the town government. It is adjacent to Aoxi Village in the east, Huangpi Village in the south, Sandu Town in Tonggu County in the west and Pingtian Village in the north. It is located at the foot of Niuziling Mountain in Jiuling Mountain Range. The geographical location is quite advantageous. The total forest area of the village is 19836 mu, and the cultivated land110 land (paddy field) is 273.3 mu. The forest resources mainly produce dozens of miscellaneous trees such as bamboo and Chinese fir. The accumulation of Phyllostachys pubescens is more than 6.5438+200,000 plants, which is one of the main producing areas of Phyllostachys pubescens in the county. It has jurisdiction over 9 villagers' groups in Dongan, Dongkeng, Qianyuan, Longpi, Aoshang, Shangdian, Bianshan, Wu Xia and Shanxia. The existing cultivated land in Wangjiacao Village is 1383.3 mu, including paddy field110 mu. Rice is the main food crop, which is planted all year round. Vegetables are mainly planted in dry land, and there are many varieties, but most people grow them for their own use and generally do not make economic sources.
Industry and commerce
From the early days of liberation to the 1970s, there were more than a dozen self-made paper sheds here, with an annual output of thousands of tons of self-made paper, which was famous for its good quality. It was dissolved in the middle and late 1970s, and there was 1 village-run refined bamboo products factory (registered), which mainly produced sanitary chopsticks and summer sleeping mats with a large output. However, the production stopped at 200 1, and the villager Fu Housheng led the surplus labor force to set up Fangsheng Bamboo Floor Factory in Huanggang Town, with an annual output value of tens of millions of yuan. Precious tree species include Taxus chinensis, a national first-class protected rare plant, and various tree species such as Cinnamomum camphora, Phoebe bournei, Cypress and Catalpa bungeana. It is estimated that there are more than 6.5438+0.2 million bamboo plants in the village all the year round, and the main source of income for the villagers is bamboo.

Wangjiacao is located at an average altitude of more than 800 meters, mainly raising pigs, cattle, sheep, rabbits, chickens and ducks. Every household has farming habits. Villagers run three large and medium-sized farms, including two medium-sized pig farms and three-dimensional farms for pigs, chickens, sheep and cattle 1 farm. Farmers in the village also have the habit of digging small fish ponds to raise fish, but they are basically raised naturally. Wangjiacao is located in a mountainous area with high forest coverage and abundant water resources. The farmland in the village is mainly irrigated by mountain spring water, and there are 6 power stations. 1973, the township government built three power stations in China with an installed capacity of 450 kwh. Villagers raised funds to build three power stations, all of which were incorporated into the State Grid for power generation.

Before liberation, villagers went to Huanggang by small mountain roads. 1965, villagers in the whole village excavated a gravel road with a width of 4 meters. 198 1, the road from Aoxi to the village was widened. In 2005, the higher level government approved the project, and the village committee invested and donated money to build a 4.5-meter-wide water pavement, with a total investment of 6.5438+0.48 million yuan from Aoxi to the village department. There are many temples in the village, the most famous of which are Wufeng Temple and Longtu Temple. Wufeng Temple was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution, and now there is a brand stone engraved with "Jingjue Zen Forest" from Su Dongpo's former Liujia. Luohan Bridge was built in the Tang Dynasty and is now well preserved.
Longtusi
Dade Garden in the Southern Song Dynasty sealed the golden body of the ancient Buddha, and the archives recorded the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. Ancestors of Wangjiacao surname moved from Fujian to Wangjiacao to Guihua Anfeng. Because of its long history, this ancient temple was destroyed in the Cultural Revolution. In 2002, two provinces, three counties and others were rebuilt, and the basic reconstruction was 50%. The second temple fair is held as usual on the sixth day of the first month and the sixteenth day of October every year, lasting for three days and three nights.

In 2005, the highway from Aoxi to the village was widened and hardened, with a total length of 3.8 kilometers. In the same year, the Shanxia-Qianyuan Highway was started. By 2007, the two highways were successfully completed, with a total investment of 6.5438+0.68 million yuan.
In 2009, the highway connecting the whole village to the natural village (group) started construction in an all-round way, and was completed at the end of 20 12, realizing that all groups are connected with cement roads.
In August of 20 12, the new office building in the village was started in an all-round way, with a total construction area of 568 square meters and two floors in total, and was fully completed in June of 20 13.
People's lives
In recent years, Wangjiacao village has actively carried out the construction of new countryside.
