The Historical Evolution of Shenze Town
Shenze Chengguan is an ancient city. According to the records of Shenze County in the Annual Inspection of Qianlong and Longqing, the county seat was located in the sixth year of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty (AD 586). The circumference of the city wall is 4 miles, with 65,438+067 steps, 2 feet 5 feet high, 65,438+0 feet wide at the top and 2 feet 65,438+0 feet wide at the bottom. There are four turrets, east, south and west respectively. The east gate is called Yangguangmen, the south gate is called Huaide Gate, and the west gate is called Anyuan Gate. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, Chen Lai-chao, a magistrate of a county, presented an urn, changing the east gate to Aisheng Gate, the south gate to Changming Gate and the west gate to Yuewu Gate. Since the Sui Dynasty, all counties have been located in Chengguan. Because the town is far away from the center of Shenze County and close to the county government, it was named Shenze Town. Chengguan commune was founded in 196 1. 1March, 984, renamed Shenze Town.
