Wuxian: It was built in the 4th year of Yongjian in the Eastern Han Dynasty (A.D. 129). In the Eastern Han Dynasty, Huiji County was divided into Wuxian County, which governed Wuxian County (now Suzhou, Jiangsu Province), and its jurisdiction included both sides of Qiantang River below Jiande, so Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province was also within Wuxian County. In the Southern Dynasties, Wu Jun was changed to Wu Zhou. After the Southern Sui Dynasty destroyed the State of Chen, Wu Zhou was changed to Suzhou, and the land of Wujun was called "Suzhou", which has been inherited ever since. In addition, during the Three Kingdoms period, the Sun Wu regime set up another Wu Jun in the first year of Baoding (Xu Bing, AD 266) and ruled in Wucheng (Wuqing Town, now Wuxing District, Huzhou, Zhejiang).
