Historical origin: sea cucumbers include Stichopus japonicus, Poshen, Plum Blossom Ginseng, Fangshen and Bald Ginseng, among which sea cucumbers are precious. Dalian sea cucumber is sea cucumber. Stichopus japonicus is produced in Shandong Peninsula and Liaodong Peninsula of China. In the Compendium of Materia Medica compiled by Li Shizhen in Ming Dynasty, it is recorded that "(sea cucumber) is produced in Liaodong Bay with good texture". "Qing barnyard grass notes" contains: "Sea cucumber, especially the sea cucumber in Fengtian (now Liaoning Province), is black and prickly, named Liaoshen".
