The 50th Anniversary Tour of Illustration Trend Indicators in Taiwan Province Province.

As it is held every year, the Bronn World Illustrator Award has become the vane of the international illustration trend. Especially in recent years, Asia and Latin America, where emerging countries are concentrated, not only become rising stars in economic strength, but also catch up in the development of illustration art. Besides the outstanding performance of illustrators in Taiwan Province Province, the number of short-listed illustrators from South Korea and China has also increased steadily year by year. Latin American illustrators inherit the cultural blood of Spain and Portugal in southern Europe, blend in with unique regional cultural colors, strong visual style and magical realistic stories, which are fascinating. In order to encourage young illustrators with potential, Na Tong Book Fair cooperated with Spain SM Publishing Foundation in the SM International Illustrator Award. This year's winner is Mexican illustrator JuanCarlosPalomino. The work Monkey, Messenger of the Wind presents a primitive style like a prehistoric mural with simple and flexible brushwork, and tells the story of human ancestors living in harmony with nature in Central American mythology. Due to profound cultural and artistic traditions, solid painting skills and skillful narrative skills, European illustrators always account for more than half of the shortlisted works. However, due to the influence of globalization, more and more Asian and Latin American illustrators are familiar with similar illustration vocabulary, which also makes European illustrators feel threatened.
