Cao Zhi was a poet in the Three Kingdoms Wei Dynasty. Zi Zijian is from Guo Peiqiao County. Cao Zi named Chen as king, and posthumous title thought that he was king with the world. Because of his talent, Cao Cao took a fancy to him in his early years and wanted him to be a prince. Cao Pi and Cao _ proclaimed themselves emperors one after another, deeply suspicious, and died of depression. Most of the poems are five words, and most of the early works express life aspirations and the joy of feasting, and a few reflect social unrest. His later works concentrated on his depressed and pessimistic disappointment with life. His poems make good use of metaphors, concise language and Hua Mao's words, which has a great influence on the development of five-character poems. He is also good at Ci and prose, especially Luo.

The original collection has been lost, and Cao Zijian's collection was edited by Song people.

Cao Cao has five sons: Cao Ang, Cao Pi, Cao Zhang, Cao Zhi and Cao Xiong. Cao Ang died at an early age. Among his four sons, Cao Zhi is the most talented and deeply loved by Cao Cao.

Cao Cao likes Cao Zhi, which makes Cao Pi jealous. Cao Pi tried his best to show himself in front of Cao Cao. One day, Cao Cao asked Cao Zhi to go out of the city to do something, but he didn't tell the loyalist guarding the city. Cao Zhi went to the gate, but the soldiers wouldn't let him through. There is no way, Cao Zhi had to go back and explain to Cao Cao. On the way, Cao Zhi met Cao Pi, who asked, What are you doing? Cao Zhi told Cao Pi what had just happened. Xelloss said, give it to me and I'll do it.

Cao Pi came to the gate of the city and said to the officer guarding the city, I went out of the city on orders from Wang Wei. I'll kill anyone who dares to stop me.

Hearing this, the loyalist guarding the city had to let xelloss out of the city. This time, Cao Pi finally showed himself in front of Cao Cao.

For a long time, Cao Pi always tried his best to please Cao Cao, which was very effective and appreciated by Cao Cao. Cao Cao found that Cao Zhi was smart and talented, but he was indecisive and had no ambition. Xelloss is honest and good at handling affairs, so he decided to let Xelloss inherit the throne.

Shortly after Cao Pi became king, he abolished the Han Dynasty as emperor, became emperor on his own, and changed his country name to Wei.

After Cao Pi succeeded to the throne, he was always worried that Cao Zhi would threaten his position. Minister Hua Xin also said: Cao Zhi is famous and influential. If we don't get rid of him quickly, it will definitely bring harm in the future.

So, they discussed a plan to let Cao Zhi write a poem within seven steps, or they would kill him. Cao Zhi wrote a song on the spot on the topic of their two brothers: boiling beans and burning bean dustpan, and the beans cried in the kettle. We are born from the same root, so why should we speculate with each other? Cao Pi was very ashamed after hearing this. Instead of killing Cao Zhi, he was demoted to Anxiang Hou.

Cao Zhi died of depression in his forties. His works are included in Cao Zijian. Famous poems include White Horse, Ode to Luo Shen and Yang Zude, which enjoy a high position in the history of literature.
