History of Guangdong Hongyuan Team:

1993 65438+On February 28th, Guangdong Hongyuan Basketball Club, the first private basketball club in China, was registered and established in chinese basketball association to participate in the China Men's Basketball Group B League. 1995, the team won the national men's basketball second division championship, and successfully rushed into the CBA league with such excellent results, starting a new journey.

1995- 1996 season is the first season of Guangdong Hongyuan team in CBA league. Prior to this, they won the first place in Group B of the national men's basketball team and successfully rushed to Group A with the then Air Force basketball team. Hongyuan Men's Basketball Team relies on a group of former national team players and some provincial and municipal experts, with veterans Huang Yunlong, Zhang Yongjun and Li Chunjiang on the inside and former Guangzhou Military Region team Li Qun on the back.
