Anqing No.9 Middle School was formed by the merger of the former Anqing No.8 Middle School and the former Anqing No.9 Middle School. Both schools were established in 1958. 1963 Anqing No.8 Middle School merged with Anqing No.9 Middle School due to the adjustment of zoning, taking "Anqing No.8 Middle School" as the school name. From 65438 to 0964, the municipal government transformed Anqing Agricultural Vocational School in Qijiashan into Anqing No.9 Middle School, and the two schools were separated again.

1966, due to the need of military airport construction, "Anqing No.9 Middle School" was moved to Anqing Water Conservancy School and moved to 1968.
