On the Evolution of China s National Character;
National character is not immutable. From the Spring and Autumn Period to the Tang and Song Dynasties, and then to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the character of China people, like a waterfall, has been falling and getting worse. During the Spring and Autumn Period, China people were simple; The people in the Tang Dynasty were full of vigor, sunshine and martial spirit. After entering the Ming and Qing Dynasties, hooliganism became more and more serious. This change is closely related to the development of autocratic system.
By observing China's national character from the perspective of the world and analyzing the evolution of China's national character from the perspective of history, the author thinks that the backward system has caused the inferiority of China people. In modern times, from Liang Qichao and Lu Xun to Chiang Kai-shek and Mao Zedong, they have made great efforts to transform the national character, but the results have been minimal. The root cause lies in the unsynchronized system construction and national character transformation. China people don't "filter bacteria". To transform the national character, we must work hard from the system.
