A mottled ancient certificate led people into the title deed file. The earliest published ancient title deed in China was during the reign of Qing Qianlong. Entering Kunming Archives, the earliest title deed of Qing Dynasty in its collection is Forty-one Years of Kangxi (1702), which has a history of 307 years. This is the earliest "land certificate" found in Kunming so far. Most of them have official seals, commonly known as "red deeds".
