Introduction of Anyuan District
Anyuan District belongs to Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province. It is located in the west of Jiangxi Province, in the middle of Pingxiang City, and adjacent to Hunan Province. It is known as "the throat of Wu Chu and the main road of Jiangxi and Hunan" in history. Zhejiang-jiangxi railway double track runs through the whole territory from east to west, connecting with Beijing-Guangzhou and Beijing-Kowloon arteries. Highway traffic is developed, with 320, 3 19 National Highway, Hu Rui and Pingli Expressway, and double crosses running through the territory1; Anyuan District has a total area of 2 12 square kilometers. As of 2065,438+00, Anyuan District has a total population of 430,000, with 6 streets and 4 towns under its jurisdiction. Anyuan is one of the earliest areas of modern industrial coal mining in China. Hanyeping Company was founded in Guangxu period and became the first trans-regional and cross-industry joint-stock company in modern China. Anyuan is also the birthplace of China's workers' movement, and is known as "Little Moscow in China" and "proletarian stronghold". There is the earliest industrial workers' branch in China, a local party school founded under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, and a pioneering place where Mao Zedong organized and commanded the revolutionary army, and so on. Anyuan is the birthplace of Chinese Young Pioneers and the cradle of red scarves.
