According to Baidu Encyclopedia, Longgang City in Wenzhou is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Zhejiang Province, which belongs to Wenzhou City. It is located in the south of Zhejiang Province, on the south bank of the mouth of the Aojiang River, bordering the East China Sea in the east, Yongjiang River, 104 National Road, shenyang-haikou expressway and Wenfu Railway in the west, Jiangnan Plain in the south and the mainstream of the Aojiang River in the north. The history of Longgang can be traced back to 1983, when it was a town in Cangnan County. Subsequently, 1985 and 1992, their administrative areas were adjusted, but they have always been under the jurisdiction of Wenzhou city. Until August, 2065438+2009, with the approval of the State Council, Longgang became the first county-level administrative region in China without districts and streets.
