It was called Dangyin County in Han Dynasty and tangyin county in Tang Dynasty. Tangyin has a long history and outstanding people. Dangyin County was established in the second year of Emperor Gaozu (205 BC), so it was named because it was located in Dangshui (now Tanghe) Yin. Dangyuan is an ancient name, named after the water flowing through the ancient country. In the second year of Tian Ping in the Eastern Wei Dynasty (535), it was called Wade County. In the first year of Zhenguan in Tang Dynasty (627), the water was lukewarm and changed to soup, which originally belonged to tangyin county. The people of Tangyin have created splendid ancient civilization and modern civilization on this land by relying on their own intelligence and hard work. After the founding of New China, especially since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, tangyin county has conscientiously implemented the Party's line, principles and policies, seized the opportunity, made pioneering efforts, rapidly strengthened the county economic strength, made great progress in various social undertakings, and significantly improved the lives of urban and rural people, making important contributions to socialist modernization.
