This period of history is recorded in Zuo Zhuan that "Peng Zhongshuang applied for imprisonment, and Wen Wang thought that Ling Yin applied for a rest in the county". King Chu destroyed many vassal States, and Shen Guo and Xi were just two of them. However, at that time, Shen Guohe was the bridgehead of Chu going north to the Central Plains, which had a high strategic position. When the king of Chu established the county system under his jurisdiction here, he could directly appoint and remove local officials and directly dispatch local troops, without the indirect command of the nobles below. In this way, the command is like an arm, which greatly improves the mobility and flexibility of Chu army and breaks the aristocratic private army system.
Not only was it flexible militarily, but after the county system was changed, the king of Chu directly collected taxes from the local area. All the local land, population and wealth belong to the king of Chu. At the same time, in order to ensure the stability of the kingship of Chu, King Wen of Chu successively established the local armed forces of "Shen Zhi's" and "Xi Shi Zhi", and later formed a military alliance. This is the armed force called "Ambassador Shen Zhi" by later generations. As a thick shield to ensure the implementation of King Chu's New Deal, it opened the historical precedent of the unification and centralization of Chu's decrees.
"Zuo Zhuan Cheng Gong Six Years": Jin Luanshu saved Zheng and made a detour. Chu Shi came back and Jin Shi invaded Cai again. Chu Gongzi Shen, Gongzi became Shen He's teacher to save Cai and defend Mori Zi. It can be seen from this that Chu can save Cai from the Jin army, which is a big country in the Central Plains and divided into two counties. It can be seen that the "Shen Yi Shi" is powerful and can be called an elite teacher.
"Master Shen Xi" has participated in Chu's foreign wars for many times and appeared in historical materials such as Zuo Zhuan for many times. Ling Shuai, a famous man in the history of Chu State, was good at using troops. In the seventeenth year of Chu Zhuangwang (597 BC), Shenxi Company defeated the Nomads from the Golden Army in (now northeast of Xingyang, Henan). "Applying for the Master of Interests can be described as an important support for Chu to dominate the world, a pioneer on the road of expansion, a mobile Great Wall to protect the country, and a direct escort of the King of Chu.
