Xingfeng, commonly known as Beizhen in history. It is the first village in town planning in the Republic of China; It is the first public-private textile land in Jiangsu. Xinfeng is located in the north of Dafeng District, Yancheng City. It is connected to Dafeng District in the south, Yancheng New District in the north, Shanghai and Haifeng Farm in the east and tinghu district across the river in the west. Historically, * * * was formed by the merger of Laoxinfeng, Tommy Tam, Jindun and Fangqiang after three adjustments of township divisions. At present, the whole region covers an area of 277 square kilometers, with a total population of 10.77 million, and governs 29 administrative villages, 1 sub-district offices and 10 community neighborhood committees. In 2000, Xingfeng was named "Yancheng Health Town". In recent years, the characteristics of agricultural industrialization in Xingfeng are obvious, and products with market competitive advantages such as sericulture, watermelon, green pepper in greenhouse and Boer goat have taken shape. The first township sericulture practical technology research institute in China was established, and Yunan Village is known as the first sericulture village in China. Golden Shield Watermelon won the gold medal in China International Agricultural Expo. The construction of small towns won the Dafeng City Urban Construction Management Award. Actively implement the strategy of rejuvenating the town through science and education, and won the municipal scientific and technological progress award. Black Barley Wujin 1 Breeding and Development Project won the second prize of Municipal Science and Technology Progress Award, Mulberry Grafting Nutrition Pot Seedling Rapid Garden Project and Jacquard Silk Carpet Project won the third prize of Municipal Science and Technology Progress Award respectively. The first township Federation of Literary and Art Circles in Northern Jiangsu was established. They were rated as Yancheng Health Town and Double Support Model Town respectively.
