Xu Hui (AD 627-650), a native of Huzhou Great Wall, was the concubine of Li Shimin of Emperor Taizong.

Born in the first year of Zhenguan (AD 627). Outstanding talent at a young age. When Emperor Taizong heard about it, he accepted her as a talent. Later it was named Jieyu, and then it was upgraded to capacity.

At the end of Zhenguan, Emperor Taizong frequently went to war and repaired the palace on a large scale. Xu Hui reached the summit to make suggestions and analyze the hazards of perennial conquest and large-scale construction. Emperor Taizong recognized her point of view and gave her a generous reward.

In the twenty-third year of Zhenguan (AD 649), Emperor Taizong died, and Xu Hui became ill and refused to take medicine. He also wrote seven-character poems and Julian to express his love. In the first year of Yonghui (AD 650), he died at the age of 24. Being chased as a princess, she was buried with the stone chamber of Zhaoling.
