Robots originated from.
America is the hometown of modern robots. In 1950s, inventors Ingelberg and Dewar established the company "Unimet" and produced the first batch of industrial robots-"UNIMET". 1962, machinery and foundry company developed the industrial robot "Wall-Satran". These two kinds of robots are the earliest in the world. The most famous robot. They are still in use today.

1968, Stanford research institute developed the world's first intelligent robot.

The 1970s and 1980s were the golden age for the development of American robotics.

Since 1980, there has been an upsurge of industrial robots in the United States.

Father of robot: Ichiro Kato

Ichiro Kato is the head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Waseda University in Japan. He developed the internationally famous "Huabaotuo" robot. This robot weighs 130 kg, has a pair of delicate hands and two legs like a human, and can accept orders from people in Japanese.

In order to make the robot better benefit mankind, Ichiro Kato successfully developed the "adenocarcinoma diagnosis and treatment robot". He made outstanding contributions to the development of industrial automation and robots in Japan, and was praised by the Japanese people and colleagues all over the world.

American robot veteran

Engelberg 1925 was born in Brooklyn, USA in July. Graduated from Columbia University. After World War II, I worked in a company. 1956, he began to work closely with Devall to design an industrial robot. They raised enough funds to start manufacturing in 1959, and finally manufactured the world's first industrial robot, named "Unimet", which means "general automation".

Engelberg and De Waal organized "Unimet" company, which is the first factory in the world specializing in the production of robots. In order to promote robots, engelberg went to Japan on 1967 to publicize and introduce robots. More than 600 people in Japan listened to his speech. Since then, engelberg has been known as "the patriarch of American robots".

Development of robots

According to the development process of robots, they are usually divided into three generations:

The first generation robot is a kind of "remote manipulator".

The second generation robot is a way to control the robot according to the pre-programmed program, so that it can automatically repeat some operations.

The third generation robot is an intelligent robot, which uses various sensors. The measuring instrument obtains the information of the environment, and then uses intelligent technology to identify it. Got it. An advanced robot that can reason and finally make planning decisions and act autonomously to achieve predetermined goals.

Robot kingdom

Japan is a country where robots are widely used, and the number of robots used in Japan ranks first in the world. So it calls itself the robot kingdom.

The earliest test-tube robot

The test tube robot can extract test tubes with slender fingers, weigh drugs, stir solutions, recognize text marks, observe experimental results and so on.

The earliest test-tube robot was named "Amdit", which has a simple structure and is mainly responsible for weighing samples.

Three principles of robot

American science fiction writer Asimov summed up the famous "three laws of robots" or "three principles of robots".

First: Robots must not harm human beings, or stand by and watch people being killed.

Second: the robot must obey the orders given to it by people. When the orders conflict with the first one, it will not obey.

Third: robots must not violate the first rule. Protect yourself under the second principle.
