What does the tick data in stock index futures mean?
The tick data refers to two snapshots per second, and the finest granularity of domestic futures is twice per second, in milliseconds.

Tick chart, also known as lightning chart and dot matrix chart, is a graph that lists and displays every transaction in the futures trading market. Mainly used for ultra-short-term speculation in the day, there are basically no technical indicators, mainly relying on the sense of speculators.

Futures: Futures and spot are completely different. Spot is actually a tradable commodity. Futures are mainly not commodities, but standardized tradable contracts with some bulk products such as cotton, soybeans and oil and financial assets such as stocks and bonds as the targets. Therefore, the subject matter can be commodities (such as gold, crude oil and agricultural products) or financial instruments.
