Shijing Township is located in Huaining County, Anqing City, Anhui Province (the northern suburb of Anqing City). In 2002, Huaining Conch Company, with an investment of 654.38 billion yuan, started construction and put into operation that year, becoming one of the pillar industries of Huaining County's economy. In 2006, it became one of the "top five" tax payers in China nonmetallic mineral products industry. The main natural disasters are drought, flood, wind and hail.
