Shandong province belonged to Qi and Lu in the pre-Qin period, so it was renamed Qilu. Today's Shandong belonged to Qilu in the pre-Qin period. Qi is a large piece of land in the east of Shandong with Zibo as its capital, and Lu is a small piece of land in the west of Shandong with Jining as its capital. By the end of the Warring States period, with the basic completion of national integration and humanistic assimilation, Qilu culture gradually merged into one.
