Luodian navel orange is a specialty of Luodian County, Qiannan Prefecture, Guizhou Province. Luodian County is the best citrus base county in Guizhou Province, and Luodian navel orange enjoys a good reputation all over the country.

The citrus industry in Luodian has a long history of cultivation, and it was once a tribute of the court during Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty. In the early 1980s, our county began to introduce it on a large scale. Newhall navel orange is the main cultivated variety, which has the characteristics of beautiful fruit shape, early maturity, high yield, excellent quality and strong adaptability. 198 1 successfully planted in Shanglong tea and fruit farm in our county.
