The development of history
The origin of place names
According to Records of Places of Interest, the Song Dynasty was named Huaiyuan Army, and Song Lizong Zhaoyun was named "Jingshan is the city, and righteousness is in Huaiyuan".
Architectural evolution
The history of Huaiyuan County can be traced back to the Tang and Yu Dynasties in primitive society, with heaped-up mountains and stone states.
Xia and Shang Dynasties were divided into Kyushu and Huaiyuan belonged to Xuzhou.
In the Western Zhou Dynasty, Xuzhou was merged into Qingzhou, which belonged to Qing and Yang states.
During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, it belonged to Wu State and Chu State successively.
During the Qin Dynasty, China was unified by the Qin Dynasty, and the county system was implemented, with Huaishui as the boundary, Huaibei as Sishui County, and Huainan as Jiujiang County.
In the Western Han Dynasty, the Huaihe River was still the boundary, and there were four Hou and two counties. Dangtu and Quyang were established in the south of Huaishui, which belonged to Jiujiang County. Ping 'an, Yicheng, Houguo, Longkang and Xiangxiang are two counties in the north of Huaishui.
When Wang Mang was in the New Dynasty, Dangtu was renamed Shanju, Quyang was renamed Yanping Pavilion and Pingga was renamed Pingning.
In the Eastern Han Dynasty, Dangtu was changed to county, and Pei Jun was changed to Guo Pei. The original county remained unchanged, only Ping 'an and Yicheng were changed to Jiujiang County.
During the Three Kingdoms period, the land belonged to Wei territory, and Longkang was changed to Ruyin County, and Yicheng, Ping 'an and Quyang counties belonged to Huainan County. Dangtu, withdraw the waste from the county.
