Hairtail, also known as saury and toothfish, is a trichiuridae animal of Perciformes. As the name implies, hairtail is flat on one side, silvery gray, with light gray dorsal fin and pectoral fin, with tiny spots, black tail, big mouth with fish head, tapering towards the tail, like a thin whip, the head is twice as long as the height, and the total length is about 1 m. Hairtail is widely distributed in the western Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean, and can be seen in all coastal provinces in China, with the highest yield in the East China Sea.

Oranges and tangerines

South Korea and China are one of the important origins of citrus, with rich citrus resources, many excellent varieties and a cultivation history of more than 4,000 years. As early as the Xia Dynasty (2 1 century-BC17th century), oranges produced in Jiangsu, Anhui, Jiangxi, Hunan, Hubei and other places in China have been listed as tributes. After long-term cultivation and selection, citrus has become a precious fruit of human beings. Guo of the Jin Dynasty wrote: "There are many cases in the west, and every family takes cut dew as preserved fruit, and hundreds of them are accumulated, which is called regular food." At that time, it was known that "on the second day of the first month, if the axe is mottled, it will spare the child." That is, it is similar to modern girdling technology and promotes more achievements. It can be seen that the technical level of apple planting in China in Jin Dynasty has reached a quite high level. Li, a poet in the Song Dynasty, wrote a poem in "100 Poems on the South China Sea", which has been recited: "There is autumn wind in the house, and the green leaves are not exhausted. I mistakenly think it is a flower, but I don't know that the pods are scarlet." By the Ming Dynasty, there were not only "Su-naphthalene, Zhu-ban and Qing-ban" cooked in summer, but also "Liangzhou had winter-ban, which was cooked in winter and blue in color" (Li Shizhen's Compendium of Materia Medica). However, although Fenjiu cultivated in ancient China "plays smoothly and smells a few steps", it "tastes like Gan Song, and the immature people eat it like cotton wool, and the overripe people rot it with sand" (see Qunfangpu). After European apples were naturalized in China in the middle of19th century, they gradually replaced cotton apples in China. European apples first settled in Yantai, Shandong, and were introduced to Qingdao, Shandong and southern Liaoning from the end of 19 to the beginning of this century, and began to be cultivated economically. At present, in all apple producing areas in China, except for the original apple tree species, most of the economically cultivated apple varieties are introduced from Europe, the United States, Japan, the Soviet Union and other countries, which are called western apples.

Litchi originated in Lingnan, China, and is a special product in China. At present, there are wild litchi communities in Zhanjiang, Lianjiang and Hainan Island, which can prove the origin of China. Many southern cities call themselves "the hometown of litchi in China".

According to records, Wei Tuo, King of South Vietnam, presented litchi to Emperor Gaozu to establish friendship, which shows that litchi was already in Guangdong at that time. Its cultivation has a history of more than 2000 years. There are many records of litchi in Sichuan in the Tang Dynasty. Since the publication of Cai Xiang's Litchi Spectrum (1059), litchi in Fujian has also received attention. Litchi is also produced in Guangxi and Yunnan, but few people talk about it.
