Yuyuantan park is outside Fuchengmen, east of Diaoyutai and west of the Third Ring Road. The Zodiac (Forest Cabin) was built on the south bank of East Lake in yuyuantan park1March, 983. Large cement tree houses, equipped with cable bridges, wooden bridges and slides, are surrounded by sculptures of lovely animals such as earth mountains, rocks and umbrella pavilions, forming a simple and lively atmosphere in the children's activity area. There is a unique cherry blossom with drooping branches in the green space on the island, and there is a subtitle on the lying stone, Xiao Chun Cherry Pavilion. On the west side, a piece of Xifu begonia and late cherry blossoms are planted side by side, and two plants are placed together in the same family to form colorful flowers, which set each other off in full bloom. The depth of Yunxi is located at the south entrance of South Zhujing, Shandong Sakura Garden, and the word "the depth of Yunxi" is engraved on the stone. In this scenic spot, the clouds of Pinus tabulaeformis set off the blue sky, and pieces of bamboo were scattered on the southern slope of the mountain.
The middle reaches of the bamboo forest meander out, like a stream running through the bamboo forest, attracting people to explore the deep valley. Diversion Lake is located in the northeast of the park, with a quiet lake area, which was originally a forest storage area with lush vegetation. With the construction of the Park Ring Road, this 9.5-hectare low-lying forest area was backfilled and rebuilt on a large scale at 1997 and 1998. The northern terrain is gentle and open, with cedar, ginkgo and tall poplar as the main tree species, scattered in the open lawn along the northern part of the park and around roa Lake.
This monument, created by Feng He of China Sculpture Art Research Institute, is a stainless steel sculpture shaped like a flying red scarf. Height17m. The base of the monument is made of white granite and red marble, with a height of 3.85 meters. The inscription on the Monument to Young Heroes in China was written in nine Chinese characters by former General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee Hu Yaobang.
The square in front of the monument is a square under acacia forest, and four groups of stainless steel stone tablets respectively reflect the heroic images of children in different periods such as War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, the War of Liberation and socialist construction. The designer is Liu Shuqing from China Sculpture Art Research Institute. Dashan Sakura in the Sakura Garden in Dashan Sakura District was a friendly gift to China when Japanese Prime Minister tanaka kakuei visited China at the end of 1972.
Li miao, native to Hokkaido, was concentrated in Beijing for the winter. Yuyuantan planted 180 plants in the spring of 1973. 1983 123 was listed as a second-class protected tree in the park, 1995 The remaining 63 trees (including 7 other and self-propagating seedlings) were listed as a first-class protected tree by the Bureau of Landscape Architecture. Because the climatic conditions in Beijing are not suitable for the growth of cherry blossoms, because of the favorable small environment near the water and mountains, and the attention of hardworking gardeners Liu Shucai, Master Li Jiajiu and leaders from all walks of life, a lot of manpower and material resources are invested in special conservation and improvement of cherry blossoms every year.
Yuyuantan park can still see the cherry blossoms of that year. However, there are not many intact and healthy trees. There are still a large number of Robinia pseudoacacia forests on the south bank of Dongxihu Lake in Huaiyin Sinong Park. In summer, strolling in Zhonghao Second Garden and looking up at the tall acacia trees, history can't help but emerge: 19 10, Shijing University was established in Luodaozhuang, west of Wanghailou official site, and Yuyuantan was used as an agricultural and forestry practice place. Zhongshan Island Zhongshan Island is located in the southwest of the park. It is a narrow hillside between Bayi Lake and West Lake. It is 800 meters long and about 80 meters wide. It is a barrier formed by the accumulation of waste soil from several river and lake excavation projects in history. It is located between Yuyuantan and Bayi Lake and is called Zhongshan Island. The hill near the levee is the commanding height of the park, and there is an antique double-eaves pavilion. In the west, there is the Monument to the Young Heroes of China. In the early 1990s, the whole terrain was rebuilt, which enhanced the tourism value of this area. On the south side is the Bayi Lake Wharf upstream of the water.
Liuchunyuan
Liuchunyuan, located in the east of yuyuantan park, was built in 1983 and covers an area of16300m2. In the middle is a garden, in the middle is an open lawn, surrounded by pavilions, tall trees, flowers and trees that can be enjoyed in all seasons. The building structure in the park is rigorous, the corridors, pavilions, halls and shelves are arranged in an orderly way, and the spring harvest in the park is made by Tan Xin, a famous gardener from Beijing. Cable-stayed steel bridge Suspended-locked all-steel suspension bridge spans the entrance of West Lake in the park.
It is an important traffic link and tourist attraction connecting Sakura Garden and Zhongshan Island. The span is 53m, the width is 2.5m, the bridge height is 6.5m, and the deck load is 400kg/m2. It is the largest all-steel suspension bridge in China City Park.
