The Old Testament tells that God made a Covenant with Jews on Mount Sinai, and the Covenant that Christianity inherited from Judaism was called the Old Testament. The Old Testament is usually divided into five parts: the Five Books of Moses (also known as Torah), history books, hymns, books of wisdom and books of prophets.
1, God promulgated the law (the law book) through the prophet Moses.
2. God warns, blames, exhorts and comforts his voters through prophets.
3. Important events (history books) that God's chosen people-descendants of Abraham and descendants of Jacob (also called Israel) experienced before the birth of Jesus.
4. Spiritual experience written by God-fearing people (wisdom book).
