The development of history

1994 adjustment of urban zoning in Qingdao, eight sub-district offices and Loushan Town in the north of Licun River in Cangkou District were merged with the area north of Zhang Cun River in Licun Town in Laoshan District to establish Licang District.

April 23rd 1994 Qingdao adjusted the administrative divisions of municipal districts: Cangkou District was abolished and Licang District was established.
