The first bicycle in China was born in Tianjin in 1930s, and the Flying Pigeon brand bicycle was the first bicycle brand in China. This enterprise first set up a factory in Tianjin. 1950, the first bicycle designed and manufactured by China was born in Tianjin Bicycle Factory, named Flying Pigeon. Flying Pigeon is the brand of Tianjin Flying Pigeon Vehicle Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and its trademark is listed as one of the "National Key Trademark Protection Brands" by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce.

Tianjin Flying Pigeon Bicycle Co., Ltd. was awarded the title of "China Time-honored Brand" by the Ministry of Commerce, and it was 1999 according to the modern enterprise system. The joint-stock enterprise based on the famous flying pigeon brand is the only manufacturer of flying pigeon brand bicycles. In 2005, the company absorbed natural person funds by increasing capital and shares, and was restructured into a mixed ownership enterprise.

Brand creation

"Flying Pigeon" is the first national bicycle brand in New China, and the old brand has created brilliance. Tianjin Bicycle Factory was established in 1936. After liberation, the first bicycle brand designed and produced in China was Gefei brand, which was born on July 5, 1950 at/kloc-0. During the planned economy period, its output value accounted for one-sixth of the total industrial system in Tianjin.

Flying pigeons are especially famous for their excellent materials, advanced technology, brisk riding, durability and novel style. 1954 won the first place in the first national bicycle quality appraisal, and then the honors continued. 1979' s PA22 bicycle won the national quality product award, and 1980' s PA22 bicycle won the national silver award. 1988 won the quality management award issued by the Ministry of light industry, and 1989 won the national best after-sales service award.
