Wannian Bridge, Qingzhou, the Wannian Bridge of Qingzhou in the Riverside Scene of Qingming Festival, formerly known as Nanyang Bridge, commonly known as Beida Bridge, is an ancient bridge with a history of 1000 years, which spans the Nanyang River flowing through Qingzhou city. In the past, it was the only passage between two cities in Qingzhou. This bridge has a long history, important value, large scale and superb construction technology, and is famous in Qilu. According to the literature, the architectural structure of this bridge has undergone two large-scale reforms. The first time was during the Song and Ming Dynasties (A.D. 1032 ~ 1033). The beam-column wooden bridge was changed into a column-free single arch wooden bridge, which has a unique structure and looks like a rainbow, so it is called "Hongqiao". For flood control, after several times of financing, the river bank was reinforced with huge stones, and dozens of big trees crossed each other without columns. The frame was a flying bridge, creating the first wooden Hongqiao in China. It is said that this is the first unique wooden Hongqiao in China. Soon, this bridge-building technology was extended to Fen, Bian and other places, and the wooden Hongqiao was all the rage. The Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival was written by Zhang Zeduan in Song Dynasty, based on Hongqiao on Nanyang River in Qingzhou.
