Changes of Binzhou Railway —— Century Railway
Binzhou Railway was originally named Dong Qing Railway West Line (i.e. Eastern Qing Railway), and was renamed Middle East Railway West Line (i.e. Eastern China Railway) after the founding of the Republic of China. From 65438 to 0896, the Qing government signed a contract with Russia called "Sino-Russian Joint Venture", which was actually operated by Russia.

Because the Binzhou line starts from Harbin in the east and ends in Manzhouli in the west, it is the western trunk line of the Middle East Railway. So it is called "Harman Line" and "Western Line". During the occupation of Northeast China, it was called Binzhou Line, with a total length of 934.8 kilometers. In the 23rd year of Guangxu (1897), the foundation stone laying ceremony of Binzhou Line was held. In the 24th year of Guangxu (1898), the design was completed in March; In June of that year, Dong Qing Railway Engineering Bureau officially opened its office, and in August, ground was broken at both ends of Harbin and Manzhouli. In the 26th year of Guangxu (1900), the track laying from Harbin to Anda Station was completed in April, covering an area of 9 16.53. In the 28th year of Guangxu (1902) 10/4, the temporary operation began, and in the 29th year of Guangxu (1903), it was officially put into operation. After the founding of New China, China Ministry of Railways, Harbin Railway Bureau and Harbin Railway Sub-bureau continuously upgraded Binzhou Railway, and all rails were replaced with 50 and 60 types. Songhua River Bridge in Harbin is one of the earliest bridges built by Harbin Railway Bureau, with a length of 10 15.438+05m ... Construction started on May 4th in the 26th year of Guangxu (1900) and September/kloc in the 27th year of Guangxu (190 1). After decades of wind, frost, rain and snow, severe heat and cold, flood erosion, fatigue of steel beams, the bearing capacity is reduced. The 76.8-meter arc steel truss beam contains too much phosphorus and has poor toughness, and the cracks increase year by year. Up to 1962, there were more than 1500 cracks in the 8-hole curved steel truss beam. The load grade of the 33.5m steel truss beam is inherently low, and the bridge foundation is shallow, and its bottom is mostly above the scour line. The piers 17 and 18 have been tilted, and the facing stone of 9 piers has partially fallen off. In order to ensure traffic safety, the bridge reinforcement project was designed and implemented by Northeast Railway Engineering Bureau on July 1962. The main works are as follows: 8 holes of 76.8m steel truss girder are completely replaced, of which 6 holes are made of 77m flat chord through steel truss girder reserved by Nenjiang Bridge. Sidewalks are added on both sides, and the other two holes are newly made 77-meter flat-chord steel truss beams. Reinforce 1 1 steel truss beam with a hole of 33.5m, dismantle pier 17, and reinforce pier 9 with concrete. Construction started in September 1962 and was completed in February 1972.

Harbin rose because of Dong Qing Railway, and Binzhou Railway also left a legacy in Harbin, among which Binzhou Railway Bridge is one of the scenic spots in Harbin. Binzhou Railway has become a century-old person, witnessing the modern history of China and the humiliation history of China, and inspiring the spirit of self-improvement of China people.
