The Historical Evolution of Ziyun View
Since the Tang and Song Dynasties, Gugang Prefecture has been a new club, and there is a Ziyun Cave on Xiangshan Mountain, which is the place where Taoism is passed down and taught. According to the records of Xinhui County, Lingnan Taoism flourished in Qing Dynasty, and folk beliefs were widespread. In the first year of Tongzhi (1862), Taoist worshiped Lv Dongbin's father in Ziyun Cave. According to local legend, Lv Zu was very effective in eliminating disasters and benefiting the people. During the Republic of China, only Taoist Liang Rong (commonly known as Zi) kept the shrine in Ziyun Cave in Huicheng, and there was no altar. Later, the temple was destroyed and the war broke out. In the 1990s, believers proposed to rebuild Ziyun Cave, which was planned by enthusiastic people and relevant government departments. Later, Hong Kong's "Tan Zhaoci Charity Fund" donated more than 30 million yuan to rebuild it in Guifeng Mountain National Forest Park and renamed it Ziyun Temple. 1996 laid the foundation stone and 1998 started construction. The main project was completed in June 20001year, and the statue was opened to the public on June 26, 2002.

Ziyunguan embraces green mountains and clear waters and lives in a sacred land and aura. Guan Gong's building area is 46,000 square meters. There are 9 large and small halls and 9 1 statues in the temple. The building project was designed by Professor Pan from the Department of Architecture of Nanjing Southeast University and He Jianzhong, the chief architect of Jiangsu Institute of Ancient Architecture and Landscape Design. Hu Jianning, an expert in Buddhism and Taoism in Shanghai, designed the interior and statues. The architectural design of Ziyun Temple has absorbed the advantages of Taoist traditional architecture and China traditional architecture in Ming and Qing Dynasties. The palace building is grand and solemn, and the statues in the hall are vivid, fresh and free. It is unique and second to none among similar Taoist temples in China. It is deeply loved by pilgrims, tourists and other spectators.

Ziyun Temple has become one of the largest Taoist temples in Guangdong Province with its rich historical background and gorgeous and exquisite architecture, and has become a designated tourist attraction in the boutique tourist routes promoted by the local government.

Ziyun Temple, rebuilt that year, is a new star of Taoism in Guangdong. Since the opening ceremony, Qi Xin, a faculty member in Guanzi, has worked together to actively participate in various educational activities and social affairs at all levels on the basis of performing religious preaching and dispelling doubts, and has effectively explored how modern religion can serve the society and local economy, making Ziyun Temple stand out in the Taoist circles at home and abroad. I believe that in the near future, its influence will be further expanded, and it will make greater achievements in promoting religion and serving the local area.
