The Historical Origin of Fuyu Town
Fuyu Town was originally named "Yangtun". Early Qing Dynasty 1686 (25th year of Qing Emperor Kangxi) set aside some stations from Ningnian Station (now Funing Village) to establish Tunluo. Because it is mostly Yang, it is named "Yang Tun". At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, it was under the jurisdiction of Ningnian Township, Longjiang Prefecture. 1929 was placed under the jurisdiction of Fuyu Administration in April, and Yangtun was changed to Xingyang Town, which was under the jurisdiction of fourth area. 1930, Qike line railway was completed and opened to traffic, south of Yangtun.

Set up Ningnian Station, so it is also called Ningnian Town. May 1984, the name of Fuyu town was restored.
