Wang Ziqing moved to Hongkong on the eve of 1949, and the store was managed by his son Wang Xiongfei. After the establishment of People's Republic of China (PRC), Wang Fan Factory was rebuilt in Hangzhou. The manufacturing base is Qinghefang, and the storefront is on Hubin Road near the West Lake, using the old Samsung trademark.
Hangzhou "elegant fan" has a long history and is famous since ancient times. Hangzhou Wangxingji Fan Village, the predecessor of Hangzhou Wangxingji Fan Industry, was founded by Wang Xingzhai in A.D. 1875 (the first year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty).
