Pingdiao Luozi originated in the middle of Qing Dynasty and has a history of more than 200 years, which is popular in Handan. It is two unique operas in Handan, Hebei Province, and an important part of Handan's history and culture. Pingdiao evolved from Bangzi Opera, which spread in the north of Henan Province, and Luozi Opera evolved from Huaqiang, which was popular among Han people in Wu 'an, Hebei Province. Because there are "two out of line" performances in a group, it is called "two pots". In Wu 'an County, there is a county-level professional troupe that has been preserved to this day. Generally, the actors in the level-tone Luozi class can play both level and Luozi at the same time. Some of Xia Zi's contents praise the struggle of the working people against the feudal ruling class in history, some praise the national heroes who fought against foreign aggression, and some reflect the new social fashion of equality between men and women and changing customs.
There are more than 200 kinds of traditional pinglang, and more than 50 kinds of Luozi opera/kloc-0. Famous actors in past dynasties include Wei Hongchang, Sun, Liu Shoutang, etc.
Pingdiao mainly plays dynasty plays, while Luozi is good at playing family plays.
