Shanshan guild hall is a fellow guild hall built by Shanxi and Shaanxi businessmen who lived here that year. It is also called Guan Gong Temple because Guan Gong is worshipped in museums. This hall can be described as "magnificent, the best in the world". Shedian ancient town in the Qing Dynasty was the most prosperous, with developed water transportation, with Jingchu in Nantong in the north, Ji You in the north, Fujian and Zhejiang in the east and Liang Yong in the west. It was a commercial port for the distribution of goods in several provinces in the Central Plains and the south of the Yangtze River. At the peak, more than 500 firms gathered in department stores, and 72 street branches zoned the market. They got together to operate and their business was booming.
