1952 District 9 (hanyang) district office was established with the approval of yinzhong hanyin county Committee; 1956 due to the central government's policy of "streamlining institutions, tightening personnel and adjusting cadres", Hanyang District was merged into the whirlpool area; 1962, some communes in the whirlpool area were set aside and Hanyang District was re-established; So far, Hanyin County belongs to Hanyang, Pingliang, Puxi, Tiefo, Vortex and Chengguan Town. At that time, Hanyang District Office had jurisdiction over five township people's governments, namely Liming, Weixi, Hanyang, Tianchi and Shuangping, and was stationed in Pingyang Town, Hanyang. 1996 When the town was established, the original Hanyang, Liming and Tianchi townships merged into Hanyang Town. The original Shuangping Township and Weixi Township were still townships, and now they are towns. In 2003, the original Weixi Township was merged into Hanyang Town, which was under Hanyin County of Ankang City. Hanyang Town is still located in Pingyang Town, Hanyang, 7 1 km away from the county seat.
