In order to make the country stable for a long time, various dynasties have also done a lot of research on the original site of the capital. China is vast in territory and abundant in natural resources, and many places are fortunate to be the capitals of ancient dynasties.
For example, Nanjing, with its unique geographical location, was once the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties. Even after hundreds of years of silence, it has never worn away its imperial spirit. Today, we can still see the imprint of history from the ancient road wall.
Since Fan Li, a doctor from Yue State, built the Nanjing City Wall in 472 BC, it has a history of nearly 2,500 years. Nanjing is surrounded by mountains and waters. Zhongshan is long, narrow and flat, with beautiful mountains and rivers, and there are many places of interest. Since the 3rd century, Song, Qi, Liang and Chen of Soochow, Eastern Jin and Southern Dynasties have successively established their capitals here.
Later, the Southern Tang Dynasty, the early Ming Dynasty, the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom and the Republic of China all established their capitals here, so it was also called the city of the Ten Dynasties. Nanjing City has left us a rich national cultural heritage.
