Introduction: The Great Buddha Temple is located in the middle of Jinghe River Basin, connected with Longyou culture in Guanzhong, and plays a role as a context node in the eastern section of the Silk Road.

Binzhou Giant Buddha Grottoes is located at 65,438+00 kilometers of Binzhou City (now next to Xilan Highway), with verdant Liang Qingshan in the south and Jinghe River flowing eastward in the north. It was founded in the second year of Zhenguan in the Tang Dynasty (628). It is the largest and most exquisite grotto in China during the reign of Emperor Taizong, and it is also the largest grotto temple with the highest Buddha statue, the most prominent artistic features and the richest connotation in Shaanxi Province. There are more than 130 grottoes here, distributed on a 400-meter-long three-dimensional rock surface, including 446 niches and more than 1980 statues. Located at the crossroads of the Silk Road, Binxian Giant Buddha Grottoes are famous for the Silk Road, Shenzhen Pass and the Western Regions in history.
