When did the Old Nine Gates originate?
The Old Nine Gates originated from the nine grave robbing families in old Changsha mentioned in the notes of Nanpai's uncle's grave robbing, which is called the Old Nine Gates, also known as the Nine Gates Prefect. Old Nine Doors is a prequel to Tomb Robber Notes, which tells the ancestral stories of Wu Xie and others, and tells the daily fragments of their roles in a gentle and short style. It was first published in Super Beauty.

There are also some narratives in the online joke "What Are They Doing" and the physical book "Wu Xie's Private Notes" (Chinese mainland's first edition is called "Wu Xie's Tomb Robber Notes"). In 20 15, his uncle Weibo published the prequel to the Old Nine Gates, that is, the story before the formation of the Nine Gates, which revolved around an old copper mine in Changsha.

Extended information is known to all the nine magistrates in old Changsha and the eight outer lines. These tomb-robbing families cover all aspects of cultural relics smuggling, and almost all the funerary objects must pass through one of them when they flow out of Changsha.

There are different opinions about why it is called the nine-door prefect, because there are nine gates in ancient big cities, and merchants entering and leaving the city have to choose one of them, and the old nine gates take this idea. To do business in Changsha, they can only choose one of these nine forces, and there is no other way.
