On September 30, 2006, the Chuzhou section of Ning (Nanjing)-Luo (Yang) Expressway (Chuzhou to Nanjing) was officially opened to traffic. The opening of this highway not only ended the history that mingguang city, Fengyang County and Lai 'an County were closed to expressways, but also marked the completion of the national key trunk highway-Nanjing-Luoyang Expressway.
Luoning Expressway is a national key trunk highway with a total length of 722 kilometers, including 350 kilometers in Anhui. Among them, Chuzhou section of Anhui Province is an important part of the inter-provincial high-grade highway network in Anhui, Jiangsu and Henan. To the west, it connects Fuyang Bengbu and Hefei-Wuhu Expressway through the Mingguang-Bengbu section of Luoning Expressway, and to the east, it connects Nanjing Yangtze River Second Bridge through Jiangsu connecting line.

The extension line of 2010121luoning expressway started construction in Fengyang county, Anhui province. Jiangsu section of Luoning Expressway starts from Zhuang Yong Interchange, the extension line of Nanjing Second Yangtze River Bridge in the east, crosses Macha River, Ningqi Railway and Chuhe Xuqu in the west, ends at Chuhe River at the junction of Jiangsu and Anhui, and connects with Anhui section of Luoning Expressway, with a total length of 10.23km, six lanes in both directions and a design speed of120km/h. ..
Ningluo Expressway connects Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway to Shanghai, joins Lianhuo Expressway in the west of Luoyang, passes through Xi 'an and Xinjiang, and passes through Jiangsu, Anhui and Henan provinces in the middle, with a total length of 722 kilometers. After opening, Nanjing and Luoyang only need about 6 hours' drive.
Fengyang extension line starts from K 154 of Luoning Expressway, is connected by Jiangshan Interchange, and ends in Liu Fu Town of Fengyang County, adjacent to the completed Benghuai Expressway, with a total length of 44.5 1 km. The whole line is built according to the standard of two-way four-lane expressway, with a design speed of 120 km/h and a subgrade width of 28 m, with an estimated total investment of about 65,438.
