The river of Jinqi Highway in North Zhakou, Jinnan District, Tianjin refers to the Crescent River. The Crescent River was originally a little-known river, which experienced many vicissitudes. In the late 1950s, it was named Crescent River after dredging.

Crescent River is located in the east of Tianjin, starting from the Hongxing Pumping Station of Xinkaihe, flowing through Hebei, Hedong and Dongli Districts, and flowing into Haihe River at Haihe Pumping Station of Tianjin Steel Plant.
