On September 1 day, 2006, the National Development and Reform Commission approved the first phase of Ningde Nuclear Power Station to carry out preliminary work. The main project of Ningde Nuclear Power Station was officially started on February 18, 2008, and it is planned to build six million kilowatt PWR nuclear power units.
