On April 3, the 65438th meeting of the Seventh People's Congress of Hainan Province adopted the Decision on Establishing Hainan Province and the Resolution on Restoring Hainan Special Economic Zone. On April 26th 1988, the CPC Hainan Committee of Hainan Provincial Government was officially listed. Since then, Hainan has become the youngest province and the largest special economic zone in China, and its development has entered a new historical period. Hainan Island is a pearl in the South China Sea, the second largest island in China. Hainan is the smallest province in China with the largest ocean area.
