Nantang in ancient times, many places were in the sea, and some places were on the coast, so it was called Nantang. According to the newly compiled "Chronicle of Lufeng County (Memorabilia)", in the second year of Xining in the Northern Song Dynasty (1069), Wang Anshi implemented a new recruitment system, and Haifeng County changed "Li" to "Du Bao", which governed 8 places, namely Kuo, Xing County, Shitang, Jinxi, Longxi.
