Wenxing Tower, commonly known as Dajiang Tower and Santai Tower, was originally built on Santaishi near Dongjiang River in Huizhou (now beside Xiajiao Sugar Factory in Huicheng District of Huizhou City). The original tower was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution, and now it is a contemporary reconstruction.
The satellite tower was built by E (Ningdu, who went to Huixiu County in the 21st year of Wanli), Ye 'e (now Huizhou, Guishan County), Ye Mengxiong's wife Liao and others in the 23rd year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty (1595). Dongjiang River is located more than 0/0 meters north of Wenxing Tower, and Huilongguan is located in the south.
As one of the three pagodas in Huicheng, Wenxing Pagoda has a close relationship with Sizhou Pagoda in history. During the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty, it was designed by a pair of apprentices. The satellite tower was designed by the master and the Sizhou tower was designed by the apprentice, so the two towers are cool and similar in appearance. In addition, the satellites of satellites and satellites are located in the east of the West Lake and the south of the Dongjiang River, echoing each other from afar, just like flying geese. They used to be one of the most classic scenery of the West Lake in Huizhou, namely "the slanting view of the Wild Goose Pagoda". In the sixth year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty (1867), the top of the tower collapsed due to the wind. In the seventh year of Tongzhi (1868), Huizhou prefects Li Jiang 'ang, Yin Guangchang and Deng Xiujian.
Wenjian Star Tower is said to be used in Zhenjiang, and it is also said to advocate humanities and increase the imperial examination. In the Ming Dynasty, Ye wrote a poem "Deng Wenxing Tower": "In the clear autumn, the range rover is full of memories of old Beijing. Yue color is rough, often protecting olives, then breathing is a floating city. Looking back at the frequency of high-standard storks, China ichthyosaur was only surprised by itself. Pointing to the ancient things in the Central Plains, the smoke is full of affection. "
Due to years of disrepair, the satellite tower is getting worse and worse. /kloc-in the 1970s, the satellite tower was demolished and most of the bricks were used to build air-raid shelters. In 2006, a large number of blue bricks were found during the construction of Binjiang West No.1 Road in the urban area. It was confirmed as the site of Wenxing Pagoda by textual research.
The satellite tower was rebuilt on 20 13, about 200 meters away from the original site, and was completed on May 20 14/day.
After reconstruction, the Wenxing Tower in Huizhou is still an octagonal and seven-level brick structure. Today, it has become the Wenxing Tower Park.
